Connecting to your inner child - Part 1 & 2 with Dylan Smeder
This four-part process that can be used to act out of your center and less out of coping mechanisms. I this class the focus will be anxious, avoidant, or anxious-avoidant patterns.
1. Finding the inner child.
2. Recognize and name coping mechanisms
3. Teach you non-intuitive validation.
4. Help you understand how to use this process to act out of your core and less out of anxious and or avoidant patterns.
On day one we are going to go over the process and practice it live. I’m going to ask for volunteers to share their experiences so that we can look at the practice aloud.
Homework for day one will be to think about the practices and examples that other people shared and journal so that on day two you have an example.
On day two: As part of the practice I will respond to people’s inner child as an example. We will use that example to help you understand the steps and give as many people time to practice as there is time.
